FastServers Adds New Bandwidth Tool

December 21, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider FastServers.Net (fastservers.net) announced on Wednesday that it has introduced its new integrated bandwidth monitoring and notification tool, the Bandwidth Alert System.

The company says the new tool is included with its services for no extra charge. Customers can set their bandwidth limitations for notification by the system, which is designed to help customers determine whether they need to upgrade their bandwidth allocation.

“Bandwidth Alert System is a ‘first of its kind’ in the managed dedicated server industry. Now, customers have a way to monitor their bandwidth usage without the hassles of logging in and checking MRTG or RTG reports manually,” says Aaron Phillips, vice president of Marketing at FastServers.Net. “The new system enables customers to ‘set and forget’ while our network power server closely monitors their bandwidth usage. Customers are then alerted via email to any address they choose; providing ultimate peace of mind with the bandwidth monitoring and notification utility.”

FastServers says the system can be set up in less than 10 seconds. The reports are generated and sent at 1:00 a.m. Central Standard Time each day.
