June 20, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — FASTNET (fast.net) announced today that the company?s common stock will be delisted from the Nasdaq smallcap market at the opening of business on Monday, June 23, 2003.

The company decided not to appeal Nasdaq?s decision.

The delisting is directly related to the company’s June 10, 2003 filing of a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States bankruptcy code for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Effective June 20, 2003, the trading symbol for the company’s securities will be changed from FSST to FSSTQ, during which time it will begin trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.
