ExaNetics Adds Automation Billing System

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web application developer ExaNetics (www.exanetics.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched a beta version of PawBill (www.pawbill.com), an automation and billing software designed for web hosts.

The software supports the cPanel web hosting control panel, eNom domain name registrar and PayPal payment processor.

The company expects the final release to be available around the end of May, but customers can currently download the beta release. There is also an online demo available on ExaNetics’ website.

The software features a modular system, supports multiple languages, different account types, mulotiple billing cycles, and lets the user configure the invoice generation date.

As ExaNetics explains, the software is mutually beneficial for both the client and the web host.

From the client’s perspective, the software automates the entire billing and account setup process, from the time the client places an order up to provisioning of accounts and notifying the client of the account details.

It then continues to help the web host’s client make any recurring payments and automates the process of suspending and deleting accounts on non-payment. PawBill also has the ability to automate purchase, transfer and renewal of domain names.

From the web host’s perspective, it makes it easier to keep track of invoices and maintain client accounts. Web hosts can set options at an individual invoice or account level as well as at a global level that affects all client’s invoices and accounts.

It also lets you search for information about individual items easily through a simplified, modular admin area.
