September 23, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Texas-based ISP Everyones Internet (ev1.net) has signed a three-year contract to be the title sponsor of the Houston Bowl, a post-season college football bowl game that pits the Big 12 and Southeastern conferences.
The Bowl will now be known as the EV1.net Houston Bowl.
“We’re delighted to be a part of the great tradition of Houston football,” said EV1 CEO Robert Marsh. “The Houston Bowl has revived exciting post-season college football in our city. With the Super Bowl coming next year, EV1 is proud to be a part of the Houston Bowl in showcasing what a world-class event this city can put on.”
The EV1.net Houston Bowl will be held at 3:30 p.m. on December 30 at Reliant Stadium, the home of the NFL?s Houston Texans.
The game will be televised by ESPN.
