(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Event organizer BroadGroup (www.broad-group.com) announced on Monday that industry leaders in the European data center sector will gather at the sixth annual Data Centres Europe Conference and Awards (www.datacentres.com/dce), held April 22 to 23 at Sophia Antipolis near Nice, France.
This year’s conference will focus on the benefits of various green technologies over the coming year.
The event will feature a line up of top speakers and experts includes Christian Belady, director of hardware architecture of partner extreme computing group at Microsoft Research, Michael Manos, VP of service operations at Nokia, Roy Zeighami, UCS Power and Cooling TME at Cisco, Laurent Vernerey, president and CEO of IT business at Schneider Electric, Anthony Foy, managing director of Interxion, Michael Tobin, CEO of TelecityGroup, Eric Schwartz, president of Equinix Europe, and Bernard Geoghegan, senior VP of international operations at Digital Realty Trust, and Guy Willner, chairman of Data Gardens Russia.
The conference will include special presentations delivered by Paul-François Cattier, VP of France, Benelux & French speaking Africa at APC by Schneider Electric, who will announce the results of a new study by the Data Center Group in France, and Marion Howard Healy, associate consultant of BroadGroup on a new study of private cloud.
The 2-day international event includes a conference, an industry exhibition, and special workshops.
Additionally, the event’s annual prestigious awards dinner will include the European Green Initiative Awards which has been endorsed and will be presented by the Green Grid. BroadGroup announced it opened the nominations in January for the awards categories for the awards.
