(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK web hosting provider eUKhost (www.eukhost.com) has introduced the “Installatron” auto-installer script installer plugin, a powerful and easy-to-use interface letting shared and reseller hosting customers install a large number of web applications easily and effectively.
According to eUKhost’s announcement this week, customers signed up for shared and reseller web hosting have access to Installatron, which arrives with a large number of out-of-the-box features such as a universal plugin that makes it compatible with cPanel/WHM, DirectAdmin, Plesk Panel (Linux/UNIX), Plesk Panel (Windows) and LxAdmin.
Installatron automatically downloads application installers and upgraders automatically to the server every evening via a contrab process. Apps are updated whenever a new version is released and a full list of applications can be browsed through Installatron itself.

Existing applications can also be converted and imported, and applications can be installed to any location within the HTTP or HTTPS directory of any domain or sub-domain. Applications such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla can be backed-up, managed and restored using Installatron.
