eUKhost Adds Installatron Plugin for Shared and Reseller Hosting Customers

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK web hosting provider eUKhost (www.eukhost.com) has introduced the “Installatron” auto-installer script installer plugin, a powerful and easy-to-use interface letting shared and reseller hosting customers install a large number of web applications easily and effectively.

According to eUKhost’s announcement this week, customers signed up for shared and reseller web hosting have access to Installatron, which arrives with a large number of out-of-the-box features such as a universal plugin that makes it compatible with cPanel/WHM, DirectAdmin, Plesk Panel (Linux/UNIX), Plesk Panel (Windows) and LxAdmin.

Installatron automatically downloads application installers and upgraders automatically to the server every evening via a contrab process. Apps are updated whenever a new version is released and a full list of applications can be browsed through Installatron itself.

“Installatron is an incredibly useful tool and we’re delighted to be able to offer it to customers who sign up to use our website hosting,” eUKhost business development manager Ryan Watson said in a statement. “We already have a lot of incredible offers available for our shared and reseller hosting servers, as well as many other deals on dedicated servers and other web hosting plans. Visit us today at eUKhost to see what we can offer you.”

Existing applications can also be converted and imported, and applications can be installed to any location within the HTTP or HTTPS directory of any domain or sub-domain. Applications such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla can be backed-up, managed and restored using Installatron.

Launched in 2001, eUKhost offers a range of services including shared hosting, reseller hosting, business hosting, virtual private servers, semi-dedicated servers, dedicated servers and offsite backup solutions. Earlier this year, eUKhost expanded its services portfolio with the introduction of a line of dedicated servers with Voice over Internet Protocol capabilities designed for VoIP service providers and businesses using VoIP services.
