October 30, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Equinix, Inc. (equinix.com), a provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, said today that Louis Lee, a senior network engineer for the company, has been elected to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN.org) Address Supporting Organization Address Council from the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) region.

The Address Supporting Organization Address Council is oversees recommendations on IP address policy and manages policy development activities. The Address Council also appoints directors to the ICANN Board of Directors.

Lee, who manages the corporate wide area and local area networks in Equinix's neutral centers, will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2004.
