July 22, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Network security solution provider Enterasys Networks (enterasys.com) announced on Thursday that it has selected Jim Sims to its board of directors. Sims becomes the sixth member of the Enterasys board and its fifth outside director.
Sims is currently chairman and CEO of GEN3 Partners, a research and development services firm that helps Fortune 500 companies overcome barriers to developing and commercializing product innovations.
“Enterasys is changing the face of enterprise networking with our full line of Secure NetworksTM products, solutions and services,” says Bill O’Brien, chief executive officer and director of Enterasys. “Jim Sims shares our spirit of innovation and technology leadership. He is a visionary in the technology sector and we are excited to have him join our board of directors.”
Prior to joining GEN3, Sims founded and was CEO of Cambridge Technology Partners, an international management consulting and systems integration company.
