Ensim Releases Ensim Pro for Linux 4.1

December 5, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting automation software developer Ensim (ensim.com) announced on Monday that it had released Ensim Pro for Linux version 4.1.

The latest release of Ensim’s flagship control panel features new functionality designed to increase flexibility and reduce costs for hosting providers.

“Ensim Pro for Linux 4.1 shows our continued commitment towards delivering the industry’s most advanced control panel solution,” says Kevin Farrell, senior vice president of strategy and product management at Ensim. “It enables hosters to easily support the latest and most popular applications as well as operating systems while improving their operational efficiency.”

The new features include de-coupling of the operating system, scheduled service restarts, enhanced upgrading, an open API for Power Tools, enhanced automation and management and support for Miva Merchant 4 and 5.

Farrell says the latest release also simplifies the migration process from earlier versions of Ensim Pro through in-box migration.
