(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Microsoft Exchange hosting provider Intermedia (www.intermedia.net) announced on Tuesday it has launched its affiliate program in the UK and Europe.
Just one year ago Intermedia partnered with online affiliate network ShareASale.com to launch its affiliate program in the United States.
The free UK affiliate program gives affiliates a program to deliver Intermedia services to their customers, under the Intermedia brand.
Intermedia has already made a significant investment in the UK market this year, having opened a data center in Slough, which is its fifth facility worldwide.
Intermedia affiliates sell hosted Exchange and other Intermedia services such as instant messaging to their customers.
For each deal, affiliates earn commissions which they can receive either on a one-time or recurring basis.
Intermedia manages customers’ support and billing on behalf of affiliates. The new UK affiliate program is managed in-country and customized to the requirements of European partners.
“The market for hosted Exchange is continuing to grow worldwide,” says Tony Cohen, senior business development manager at Intermedia. “In Europe alone, Radicati Group is predicting the number of hosted Exchange mailboxes to increase to 28 million by 2014, an annual growth rate of 19 percent. Our affiliate program provides resellers with a proven way of tapping in to this lucrative market and generating additional revenues, bolstered by the global strength of the Intermedia brand and the reliability of our premium hosted solutions. It is particularly appealing for smaller IT resellers, as we have made it easy for them to start selling our solutions, and respond quickly to the demands of their customers.”
With over 250,000 premium mailboxes under management worldwide, Intermedia offers and integrates the full ecosystem of business communications services, including Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010, Microsoft Office Communications Server, SharePoint, and mobile email support for devices including BlackBerry, Android and iPhone.
