July 10, 2009 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed web hosting service provider EIRCA (www.eirca.net) has unveiled its new cloud-based infrastructure platform, “The Genius Network,” which will support it new virtual private server offering, and various cloud based services.
According to EIRCA’s Wednesday announcement, The Genius Network, dispersed across multiple locations, is now a key component of the company’s existing shared, reseller, and managed dedicated hosting product lines, adding multiple layers of redundancy to its core platform.
“The Genius Network is a combination of Cloud Computing, standard-breaking and fully redundant hardware, incredible network connectivity and redundancy across three locations,” EIRCA chief executive officer and founder Simon O’Rourke said in a statement.
The introduction of The Genius Network has let EIRCA add virtual private servers, and various cloud based services to its product line.
“Unlike many offerings within the market, most of which are single-network and with multiple points of potential failure, The Genius Network is fully redundant, faster than any of our competitors, more modern than our competitors, and more secure,” O’Rourke said. “Better yet, we won’t raise the price of our service offerings in order to bring this to the market.”
