March 18, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — According to reports released this week, outsourcing giant EDS and Japanese carrier NTT Communications have formed an alliance with the objective of delivering information technology and communications services, a deal EDS hopes will strengthen its presence in Japan.
EDS and NTT Communications have reportedly said they will work together on several projects, including data center, colocation hosting and communications services. The company will also provide one another with services. EDS’s consulting wing A.T. Kearney will advise NTT Communications’ IT Management Services unit.
