EDS Hosting Churchill Downs

 

April 19, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT outsourcing giant and Web hosting provider EDS (eds.com) said last Friday that it had signed a three-year deal with horse racing venue operator Churchill Downs to host its customer relationship management system, ticketing, Web site network, analytical, campaign management and events planning applications. It will also enable the company to continually evolve its CRM model, DePalma says.

 

Carol DePalma, vice president of consumer direct services at EDS, says outsourcing its IT to EDS enables Churchill Downs to concentrate on its business, maximizing revenue and profitability.
