ScienceLogic’s software was selected due to its intuitive, easy to manipulate dashboard reporting which brings together nearly every aspect of the infrastructure of a company and its customers, as well as true multi-tenancy with multiple levels of data segmentation, and automated integration with other Edge technologies and systems.
“We conducted an extensive evaluation of several monitoring products,” said Michael Altman, COO at Edge Web Hosting. “We selected ScienceLogic because its technology is far superior to other products in the market. The breadth of device coverage, reporting, and dashboards were key selling points for us as these features have enabled us to launch a new dashboard service to our customers. This new service will differentiate us in the marketplace and allow us to increase the value of our services to our customers.”
As a provider of managed hosting services, Edge boosts the management side of its services with the ScienceLogic enabled dashboard.
The benefits provided by monitoring solutions to smaller web hosting companies were detailed in a WHIR story last year, in which Opus Interactive CTO Brady Wilson lauded ScienceLogic’s managing and monitoring solutions. Other companies using ScienceLogic monitoring include Equinix, Fasthosts, and Cisco.
In further good news for Edge, the company received a Net Promoter Score of 64.9 from Satmetrix. Net Promoter Score is based on the single question “How likely are you to recommend (this company) to a friend or colleague?” A score between 50 and 80 is considered an indication that the company’s reputation will help it to grow.
