Easy CGI Upgrades Services
July 24, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Easy CGI (easycgi.com) announced on Monday it has substantially increased the bandwidth capacity for all its hosting plans and has launched a new VPS service. In conjunction with these new service offerings, Easy CGI has launched a new Web site.
Easy CGI has increased bandwidth allotments for its shared hosting plans an average of tenfold. The $7.96 per month advanced plan has been increased to 1 Terabyte, while the $21.96 per month plan now boasts 4 Terabytes. The improved capacity for data transfer removes virtual traffic ceilings, says the company.
“The purpose of increasing the bandwidth so dramatically for all hosting plans wasn’t to beat the competition with our new features, but to blow them out of the water,” says Dan Richfield, president and CEO of Easy CGI. “We’re confident that today’s announcements make the choice for a new Web hosting provider crystal clear.”
The Web host is also offering a new VPS service. Using SWSoft’s Virtuozzo software, the virtual private server provides greater control and performance without the costs associated with a dedicated server.
