(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud e-commerce solutions provider Savtira (www.savtira.com) announced this week that it has expanded its network infrastructure via a multi-million dollar lease facility increase with its partner Data Sales (www.datasalesitleasing.com).
According to the press release, the asset-backed lease line will allow Savtira to regain equity while growing its business as opposed to securing funds from venture capital or private equity.
Robert Breckner, VP of lease sales at Data Sales Co, spoke about its services, and the partnerships its made with web hosting providers in the March 2011 issue of WHIR magazine.
Through this partnership, Data Sales has acquired an equity interest in Savtira, according to the announcement.
Savtira says its SaaS cloud commerce platform provides customizable eStores to its customers.
“Data Sales is an industry-focused lease facility that understands the IT hardware business. They value our approach, our potential growth capabilities and our excellent position within a global e-commerce market,” Timothy Roberts, CEO of Savtira Corporation said in a statement. “Conversely, we value the partnership with Data Sales because of their in-depth knowledge of the industry.”
Savtira’s cloud commerce platform includes its entertainment distribution network that streams digital media to any device. Customers are able to rent or subscribe to software and digital media, and can stop-and-resume use on multiple devices, according to the press release.
“We saw an excellent opportunity in partnering with Savtira. We take all market factors into account when coming to an agreement. Savtira’s business model is exactly aligned with the type of ventures we choose to pursue due to the strength of the product and the size of the attainable market,” Dan Gannon, senior lease program manager with Data Sales Co said in a statement. “The global e-commerce market is a $680 billion industry and Savtira’s platform allows an entrance into the marketplace, while offering something unique – cloud capabilities and wireless, multi-device-use enjoyment for the consumer.”
Data Sales says it deals exclusively in business technology, and has a particular understanding of the equipment and resale markets, according to its website.
