January 21, 2005 — Web site and network monitoring services provider Dotcom-Monitor (dotcom-monitor.com) announced on Friday it has enhanced its Web site monitoring services to cover Intranet applications, database servers, routers, and other server-based hardware and software located within a company’s firewall.

The new Private Agent service provides enterprises with an effective new tool for maintaining services within their networks.

“The need for network performance doesn’t stop with public-facing assets,” says Vadim Mazo, founder and CTO of Dotcom-Monitor. “Often, the need exists for the monitoring of Web site and network services that are not accessible from the outside. This is why Dotcom-Monitor has developed new private, remote agents that enterprises can deploy directly within their company’s network.”
