(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain registrar software platform and consulting firm LogicBoxes (www.logicboxes.com) announced this week that it has surpassed the milestone of 6 million domains registered through its platform, OrderBox.

The mark was passed as a result of ever-increasing growth says the company. It took just a year to get from the 4 million domains mark to 5 million, surpassed at the beginning of the year, and just nine months to reach 6 million.

LogicBoxes says the growth is due to the success of the company’s channel partner network, that includes more than 90 ICANN Accredited domain registrars, with more than 60,000 resellers between them.

The company says partners have access to more than 50 domain extensions, and a range of related web services that includes web hosting, email hosting, website builder and digital certificates.

“We’ve been consistently introducing newer TLDs and products into the system to ensure that our Registrars have all the tools they need to capture their target markets,” said Sandeep Ramchandani, director at LogicBoxes, quoted in the announcement. “We’ve also been working closely with various Domain Registries to garner the best domain rates for our Registrars and plan on further boosting these activities in the coming months.”

LogicBoxes says more than 20 percent of the world’s ICANN accredited registrars were accredited through the company’s consultancy service.
