April 30, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider DNS Hosting (dnshosting.it) announced on Friday it has selected traffic management solution provider Zeus Technology’s (zeus.com) ZXTM Virtual Appliance and Zeus Web Server as integral solutions in its VMware environment.
DNS Hosting says it decided to go with a new Web server system to increase performance, speed and reliability and to give the company further competitive advantage in the Italian ISP market.
“ISPs are particularly excellent candidates for reaping the rewards of going virtual,” says Paul Di Leo, CEO of Zeus Technology. “ZXTM VA enables ISPs to add further value to their investments into virtualization, enabling them to make their networks and applications faster, more reliable, secure and easier to manage.”
Earlier this month, Zeus Technology established a partnership with Brazilian hardware distributor Servix Informática.
