March 9, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Internet service provider Dixie-Net (dixie-net.com) has partnered with Roaring Penguin Software (roaringpenguin.com) to give its end users new custom e-mail filtering options.

Roaring Penguin's CanIt-PRO anti-spam solution will be available to Dixie-Net's 10,000 Internet users and its domain managers.

"Our users have been clamoring for a solution to the spam problem for months," said Chris Marsalis, Dixie-Net's vice president of operations. "We evaluated all the options, including open-source products, paid services and other software solutions. CanIt-PRO was the best solution we have found that allows us to offer our customers the features and services that they need."
