DirectPointe Moves Into C7 Data Center

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center provider C7 Data Centers (www.center7.com) announced on Tuesday it has signed a long-term agreement to provide data center services for managed service provider DirectPointe (www.directpointe.com).

The terms of the deal were not disclosed in the press release.

The customer win follows C7′s recent acquisition of colocation services provider Tier Four, which expanded the data center floor space the company needed to meet market demand in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area.

DirectPointe provides managed services for VARs, service providers, broadband service providers, and hardware manufactures offering services to businesses and individuals.

Instead of working with multiple vendors to evaluate, acquire, deploy, and support technology, businesses count on DirectPointe to help with all aspects of their computing infrastructure.

“DirectPointe has been associated with C7 for many years and the time has come to strengthen our partnership as part of our strategy to lead the change in how businesses procure, deploy, and use their IT systems,” says Jim Martinos, DirectPointe’s CEO. “C7 plays an integral role in a new wave of innovative solutions for DirectPointe’s managed network and server customers. We are working with C7 because of their solid technology infrastructure and innovative leadership team.”

The company has multiple data centers in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, where it provides colocation, virtualization, remote backup, business continuance, and network business services to businesses of all sizes.

In September, C7 signed customer philanthropic foundation support services provider Foundation Source.
