Cloud services provider dinCloud announced the launch of a suite of cloud services customized for legal firms this week. dinCloud’s DaaS and related cloud services are available through value-added resellers in the legal industry.
The dinCloud DaaS offering is a turnkey hosted virtual desktop and virtual private data center, which includes dinHVD, webHVD, dinServer, and cloud storage. dinCloud says its solution, which is available as a subscription service, has the resiliency, redundancy, security, and scalability law firms require at a substantial cost savings.
“dinCloud has found a perfect niche with law firms, complementing Binary Pulse’s legal information, and case and billing solutions expertise, with enough flexibility, while maintaining a streamlined, efficient platform,” said Brant Roberts, owner and senior network engineer of Binary Pulse, one of dinCloud’s resellers. “Many other platforms require more complexity to get the desktops where they need to be, but dinCloud’s solutions allow law firms to be stable, yet versatile.”
After a winter with more transportation disruptions than usual in North America, virtual solutions and remote access were highlighted for many businesses.
“Since implementing dinCloud’s solutions, Immigration Attorneys has experienced remarkable flexibility. Even with the recent arctic blast, our people have been able to remain functional, even if they were unsure when they would be back in the office,” Ira Azulay, partner at Immigration Attorneys, LLP, a Chicago-headquartered firm said.
LexisNexis launched a cloud solution for law firm practice management in February, and also partnered with VCE to offer cloud services specific to legal practices.
As the cloud services market grows, some service providers are focusing on the industries with specific requirements and large growth potential.
Companies like Logicworks have benefited from targeting offerings specifically to the lucrative healthcare cloud market.
