(digitalriver.com), a global e-commerce outsource provider, announced that it has acquired the customer assets of FreeMerchant.com from Network Commerce, Inc. (networkcommerce.com), inexchange for $875,000 in cash. The acquisition, which is expected to beimmediately accretive, supports Digital River’s previously announcedacquisition strategy and further extends its market potential in the smallto mid-sized enterprise market.
