April 25, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting firm Digex Inc. (Digex.com) today reported a “solid quarter” for customer acquisitions after inking 56 new customers between itself and WorldCom.
Some of the company’s new customers include Benjamin Moore & Co., Henry Ford Museum and the U.S. State Department. Digex said a number of customers also renewed or upgraded their services.
Digex also announced revenue of $51.8 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2002, compared with $53.1 million a year ago. The company said the number of managed servers it maintained totaled 3,420, each server generating average monthly revenues of $4,638.
