October 12, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Canadian tutorial provider DemoWolf (demowolf.com) announced on Friday it is discontinuing its 50 percent off sale on October 31.
“We have had our Flash tutorials on sale for several months now, and have been extending the sale at the end of every month,” says Rob Moore, president of DemoWolf. “But with the current realities of the falling US dollar in relation to the Canadian dollar, we are unable to continue our sale prices beyond the end of this month.” DemoWolf says it will continue to have monthly sales, but not as wide-ranging and not at the level that it has had in the past. Instead of offering 50 percent off all tutorials, the company says it will likely have more specific sales on a monthly rotational basis. The rising Canadian dollar will also affect the prices of DemoWolf’s custom tutorial business, which will see a small increase starting November 1. DemoWolf says that while it is a Canadian company, all of its prices are in US Dollars since most of its customers are located in the United States.
