DemoDemo Launches Monthly Subscriptions

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — In a major change to its fee structure, flash-based web hosting tutorial provider DemoDemo.com (www.demodemo.com) has announced its tutorials are now available for a monthly subscription.

Providing its tutorials on a one time upfront purchase basis since 2002, DemoDemo has now made monthly subscription plans available, according to the company’s Monday announcement, letting customers pay a small monthly fee instead of hefty upfront costs.

DemoDemo said monthy subscriptions will enable small web hosts who would have to strain their budgets buy tutorials outright. It will also help medium to large hosts minimizing purchasing costs, which can be used elsewhere.

The subscription plans range from $14.95 to $29.95 per month, which includes over $3,000 worth of tutorial content. The monthly fee includes total branding throughout using the customer’s logo and the tutorials are hosted on the customer’s site, making the tutorials seamless.

Its products include more than 2,000 web hosting tutorials including non-English tutorials, custom tutorials and its flagship DemoCenter tutorials for topics including cPanel, Plesk, WebHostManager, Ensim, H-Sphere, FrontPage, WS_FTP, SmartFTP and CuteFTP, Helm, ModernBill, and phpBB.

In early 2008, DemoDemo launched its new channel partner network, letting web hosts offer discounts to their dedicated server and reseller clients on DemoDemo’s hosting tutorials, offering some tutorials for free or at discounts of up to 30 percent.
