Managed services provider Datapipe announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Newvem, a cloud usage analytics provider. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Datapipe said the acquisition combines its managed IT services with a cloud optimization platform, which enables enterprises to deploy and analyze AWS workloads.

Newvem offers real-time insights into Datapipe managed AWS so enterprise customers get a transparent view into AWS costs and usage to create accurate cloud budgets. Enterprises also gain visibility into security and compliance.

Datapipe partnered with Newvem last year to offer cloud analytics tools to customers of its Managed AWS service.

“Datapipe’s acquisition of Newvem is alignedwith our commitment to be the industry leader in managed cloud services for the enterprise,” Robb Allen, Datapipe CEO said in a statement. “Combining Datapipe’s proven enterprise IT and cloud services with Newvem’s cloud optimization platform provides our clients with 360 degree insight into cloud operations and optimization.”

The Newvem team will join Datapipe, adding “a creative team of cloud development and business professionals,” Datapipe said.

“Our teams share a common passion for listening to our customers and responding to their unique business requirements. We’re leveraging that customer intimacy to add features that will enhance this already powerful platform,” Allen said.

Earlier this year, Datapipe ranked 60th on Forbes’ America’s Most Promising Companies based on growth in sales and hiring, quality of management and key partnerships.
