February 22, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider Data393 (data393.com) announced on Thursday it has signed an agreement to provide managed Web hosting services for the City of Cherry Hills Village, located in Arapahoe County just south of Denver, Colorado.
Data393 will provide the City of Cherry Hills Village a managed Windows hosting environment for the city’s soon-to-be-launched police department Web site, allowing the city’s 6,000 residents to access emergency-related resources and safety programs. The Web site is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2007. The Web host offers a fully managed hosting solution with dedicated servers featuring Intel Xeon processors, Windows or Linux operating systems, quality multi-carrier bandwidth and around the clock support from an SAS 70 certified data center.
“Data393 is pleased to offer the City of Cherry Hills Village a managed and always-on web hosting service, says Erik Porter, Data393 co-founder and VP of sales. “Data393 has invested more than $30 million into a fully staffed, state-of-the-art facility that helps IT managers save the high cost of hardware prices and server room build-outs.”
