November 15, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator Data393 (data393.com) announced on Tuesday that it had been included among InfoWorld’s (infoworld.com) annual Top 100 most innovative corporate IT solutions for 2006.
According to the publication, Data393 was recognized for data center modernization that involved using DC power as part of its dedicated server solutions instead of traditional AC power, increasing server capacity while reducing heat load and boosting power efficiency by as much as 20 percent.
“We are honored to be recognized among such an elite group of national IT companies,” says Erik Porter, Data393 VP of sales and co-founder. “Our use of DC power in our data center is just one of many ways that Data393 creates solutions to meet unique challenges for our own operations and our customers.”
