(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator Data Centers Canada (www.datacenterscanada.com) announced earlier this month it has expanded its Toronto North data center in in Vaughan.
Located just 13 miles north of downtown, the Toronto North facility is situated close to 400 series highways as well as minutes away from Pearson International Airport.
The Vaughan facility is ideal for customers seeking customized solutions, offering colocation and disaster recovery services, says the company.
The facility acts as a primary North American communications hub for telecommunications carriers and data center firms from around the world.
The Toronto North data center’s environment includes 2N redunancy, carrier neutral environment, managed meet me room, 151 Front Street backhaul providing access to dozens of carriers, VESDA and Inergen systems, rooftop tower colocation, and triple layer security including biometric recognition.
The facility provides a range of different colocation configurations including racking solutions, private cages and suites with a capacity of over 200 racks.
Data Centers Canada has two data centers under its belt, with its primary 8,000-square-foot data center is located at 151 Front Street in downtown Toronto.
