Data Center Signs IronPath, NSI
May 1, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator Baltimore Technology Park (baltimoretechnologypark.com) announced on Monday that it had signed contracts with new customers IronPath Networks (ironpath.com) and NSI Hosting (nsihosting.com).
Both companies have signed multi-year contracts with BTP and are moving operations from their current locations in Northern Virginia to Baltimore.
BTP says the use of its facility will enable both IronPath and NSI to provide the highest quality connectivity and hosting services to their customers, and to better access the growing local market for advanced data center solutions.
We chose BTP over the competition due to their carrier neutral focus, purpose built facility and the flexibility to accommodate us expanding our space as our needs grow, ” said Douglas Stanley, co-founder of IronPath Networks. “The ability to set up an on-site NOC at BTP was also an attractive benefit.”
