RagingWire's data center in Sacramento
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center provider RagingWire Data Centers announced on Thursday that it has appointed Tim Nichols as its director of wholesale sales.
According to the press release, Nichols has more than 18 years of data center facility, carrier network and technical real estate experience to the sales leadership team.
Prior to RagingWire, Nichols was director of enterprise sales at QTS and was instrumental in building critical wholesale channel relationships at the company, according to the announcement.
In the past, Nichols has served as vice president of business development at Advanced Datacenters and vice president of enterprise sales at Global Crossing.
Nichols will be responsible for managing RagingWire’s wholesale data center services product and take on a large-scale account management role.
“Tim has incredible relationships with the real estate brokerage community, enterprise IT decision makers, and industry technical experts,” said Yatish Mishra, president and CEO of RagingWire. “His breadth of knowledge in the wholesale data center market space makes him a great addition to our team.”
RagingWire says that while it traditionally has been a provider of retail colocation services, customers increasingly request that it provides advanced wholesale data center services. The company says its approach to wholesale operations combines longer terms, larger power footprints and customer service.
