(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center and storage solutions provider ePlus Technology announced on Monday that it has acquired web hosting provider VantiCore to expand its hosting offerings. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

According to the announcement, VantiCore is based in New Hampshire and specializes in Cisco advanced unified communications and collaboration solutions, as well as hosting and data center virtualization.

“We’re pleased to welcome VantiCore to ePlus and solidify our presence in New England, with one of the largest engineering teams serving the region,” Phillip G. Norton, chairman, president, and CEO of ePlus said in a statement. “VantiCore’s expertise with Cisco Unified Collaboration, Contact Center solutions, and Managed Services is a strong complement to our existing suite of integrated offerings and top Cisco certifications. By combining our joint expertise, ePlus is strategically positioned to provide the highest level of service to customers in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.”

ePlus and VantiCore both focus on reselling Cisco products. ePlus is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner and achieved Cisco Master Specializations in Security and Unified Communications as well as the Cisco Managed Services Master Certification.
