Inside CoreLink's data center
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator CoreLink Data Centers (www.corelink.com) announced on Friday it has named Rick Crutchley the company’s vice president of global sales.
The move comes just a few months after founding CEO Geoff Hampson resigned from his position to pursue other opportunities, and Charles Picasso was named the company’s interim CEO and executive chairman.
In his new role, Crutchley will further continue his duties from his previous role as vice president of channel sales.
His increased responsibilities include management, mentoring, and growth of the direct sales force and continued development and optimization of the company’s indirect channel partnerships.
“We continue to see tremendous growth on the direct side of our data center business, and we wanted Rick to manage that expansion,” says Charles Picasso, CoreLink’s CEO and executive chairman of the board of directors. “During his tenure at CoreLink, Rick has showcased his deep knowledge of the industry and his ability to deliver on his aggressive revenue goals. Leveraging his experience in the data center service environment, Rick will help us continue our substantial sales momentum to expand market share throughout the industry.”
Before joiningrutchley served as the COO of managed services firm CyberTrails, where he lead a 20-person team in support of more than 150 commercial clients.
He also had a successful tenure with Inflow, as general manager and director of Western operations.
CoreLink Data Centers provides data center services, colocation solutions and expert services. The company has five data centers in Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Seattle, CoreLink operates a national network of top-tier colocation facilities.
