Data Center Design Firm Kovarus Names CTO

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center design consultation firm Kovarus (www.kovarus.com) announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Steve Rogers as chief technology officer.

Rogers has more than 20 years of consulting and services experience. In this role, he will develop the overall strategy and direction for the new, expanded Kovarus Professional Services department.

“Rogers’ experience and proven leadership in developing and managing technology services organizations comes to us at a perfect time,” says Peter Castaldi, principal and co-founder of Kovarus. “Under his leadership, Kovarus will have a solutions offering and technical team that can scale to meet the needs of our customers and our company’s continued growth.”

Before joining Kovarus, Rogers served as vice president of engineering and strategic planning for Jeskell, a national IBM VAR.

At Jeskell he helped grow the services revenue and achieved 100 percent growth in six months.

Prior to Jeskell, Rogers was the director of IT at PDL biotech research and development firm BioPharma, where he oversaw the overall customer service and implementation of all IT infrastructures.

Rogers has also managed multiple data centers, and a nationwide team of 23 analysts and technicians, with a large multi-million dollar budget.

Earlier in his career, Rogers ran his own IT consulting and services company which specialized in storage management, server integration and network infrastructure.
