CyrusOne CEO Speaks at Event

June 9, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center services provider CyrusOne (cyrusone.com) announced on Monday that company president and CEO, David Ferdman will speak at the 2008 Media and Telecommunications conference (conferences.db.com/americas/media08/), hosted by Deutsche Bank Securities (db.com).

Ferdman will discuss data center hosting trends, challenges and strategies, joining a panel comprised of The Planet CFO Kevin Klausmeyer, and Telx CEO Eric Shepcaro. The panel entitled “Internet Data Center/Hosting” scheduled for June 9 at 2:55 to 4:10 p.m. at the New York Plaza Hotel in New York City.

The annual Media and Telecommunications conference brings together 75 companies to discuss their business and key industry trends.

CyrusOne says it offers “high availability, high density data center services, providing colocation and implementation services for customers in the healthcare, energy and financial industries.”

Last July, Boston-based private equity investment firm ABRY Partners acquired CyrusOne, helping the company to accelerate its expansion plans. Then In January, the company named Paul Marvin as its new chief financial officer.
