March 7, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider CrystalTech Web Hosting (crystaltech.com) announced on Wednesday that it is sponsoring Sandbox-in-the-Sky at Microsoft MIX08 (visitmix.com/2008/default.aspx), held March 5 to 7 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The sandbox is being held on the fourth floor of the Venetian meeting space and will consist of over 60 personal computers in a 4,000 square foot area.
Developers and designers will be able to take part in hands-on labs, as well as test samples of products and technologies showcased at MIX08. Participants will also have the opportunity to try demos, dive into code and publish Web content on complementary Sandbox-in-the-Sky websites hosted by CrystalTech, says the company.

In conjunction with products discussed at MIX, CrystalTech also announced at the event that it will be offering free Microsoft Expression licenses to the first 300 customers to select the Expression software option when purchasing a dedicated server package.
CrystalTech Web Hosting also recently began providing support for Windows Server 2008.
