According to CRG West’s announcement Wednesday, the company has reported steady customer growth, driving expansion of its 450,000 square-foot Wilshire Annex data center and One Wilshire, one of the world’s most interconnected colocation facilities connecting hundreds of networks from around the globe. Able to power and cool up to 200 Watts per square foot, CRG West plans to have 15,000 square feet of additional world-class data center space ready to lease by the end of the month.
CRG West is currently one of the largest data center and peering operators in the US with carrier-neutral data centers in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington DC, and its Los Angeles facility has become one of the largest peering communities in the country.
AppNexus has been one of the leading clients to drive growth in CRG West’s Los Angeles. It announced Wednesday that it has expanded its footprint at the Wilshire Annex data center to nearly 2,000 square feet. Processing billions of transactions per month, AppNexus serves global clients that demand highly-efficient, available and reliable IT resources.
