August 16, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation service provider and an operating partner of The Carlyle Group CRG West (crgwest.com) announced on Tuesday that it has opened its newest data center 70 Innerbelt in Boston, Massachusetts.
The 276,000 square foot data center offers diverse fiber points of entry, robust primary and emergency power infrastructure and an on-site technical staff, says CRG West. 70 Innerbelt offers the large enterprise user anywhere from 10,000 to 100,000 square feet of customized data center space from scratch.
The company says 130,000 square feet is also available for a large scale data center, disaster recovery site, back office, warehouse, showroom, distribution or flex office use.
70 Innerbelt joins the list of CRG West’s other facilities in Los Angeles and San Jose, California, Chicago, Illinois, Washington D.C., and Miami, Florida. The company says it is opening a New York data center next spring.
