(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Customer care solutions provider SkyCreek (www.skycreek.com) announced on Tuesday it is now offering geographically-dispersed deployment at data center operator CRG West’s (www.crgwest.com) Chicago data center.
The news follows CRG West’s previous customer win in November, when the International Derivatives Clearing Group deployed the world’s first over-the-counter interest rate swap exchange at CRG West’s Chicago facility.
Located in Chicago’s financial district, CRG West’s voice/data center features DS3 and PRI circuits, and according to the press release, enables “best-of-breed telephony features and quality, direct termination overflow for failover, physical, logical and network security and unlimited traffic capacity.”
SkyCreek provides automated, outbound customer care solutions, including a range of voice and data delivery options to help facilitate communication between a company’s internal systems and its customers.
The company says that after seeing more enterprise customers looking to outsource customized contact applications to a data center environment, it decided to select CRG West’s Chicago data center for its ability to respond to scale with demand, while supporting its customized features.
CRG West’s SAS 70 certified Chicago data center is adjacent to Chicago’s primary fiber routes, providing a very low-latency interconnection point.
The facility also has many security features in place, including 24-hour site-secure access, mantraps and biometric scanners.
The combination of the abundant fiber, redundant AC UPS power and 24-hour remote hands services made CRG West a perfect fit for SkyCreek’s expanding needs.
Founded in 2001, CRG West develops, manages and operates world-class data centers and retail colocation space, connectivity services, remote hands support and global Internet peering exchange, the Any2 Exchange.
The company has 11 data center locations, managing carrier-neutral data centers in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington DC.
In December, hosted cloud services provider iland Internet Solutions signed a colocation lease in CRG West’s Wilshire Annex data center in Los Angeles.
