The three-day conference and "Automation Bootcamp" will provide attendees technical education, dialogue, and expert advice on tapping the full potential of cPanel and WebHost Manager, as well as Enkompass for Windows Server.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — This year’s cPanel “Automation Bootcamp” conference is set to begin next week, featuring sessions and other opportunities to help hosting professionals maximize their business’ profitability, achieve total automation, and vastly expand their knowledge base.
According to control panel software developer cPanel (www.cpanel.com), a total of 23 exhibitors and five media sponsors, and numerous hosting professionals will all gather at the conference at The Westin Oaks Hotel in Houston, Texas.
Ten exhibitors and two media sponsors signed up last minute for the annual conference including APSpanel, Directi, DotTK, Ksplice, MobPanel, OnApp, R1Soft, SingleHop, The Planet, and 1H Software. The Hosting News, and TopHosts.com join the WHIR, Ping Zine, and Webhost Magazine as media sponsors.
The three-day conference will provide attendees hands-on, high-impact technical education, dialogue, and expert advice on tapping the full potential of cPanel and WebHost Manager, as well as Enkompass for Windows Server.
“The conference landscape is solidified, and we are pleased at all of the exhibitors and media sponsors who have agreed to participate,” cPanel business operations vice president Aaron Phillips said in a statement. “Honestly, this conference will have everything engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and amazing entertainment.”
Some aspects of the event are, however, shrouded in secrecy. The cPanel/SoftLayer Mystery Event, for instance, will now be disclosed until the conference begins.
Interestingly, Web hosting software developer 1H.com (www.1h.com), also among the last minute sign-ups, plans to officially launch its line of hosting optimization software at next week’s cPanel conference. Its four applications – Hive, Guardian, Hawk and Digits – are designed to be a comprehensive set of server management tools specifically for Web hosting providers.
The company said it planned its launch at the cPanel conference because the first version of its software collection targets hosts using the cPanel platform.
In an effort to add a twist to this yearʼs conference, cPanel has announced that Riazul Premium Tequila (www.riazul.com) has been signed on as the official tequila sponsor of cPanel Conference. cPanel marketing manager Diane Sager said cPanel is very honored to have Riazul’s participation. “We anticipate they will add something different for the attendees and will take our events to the next level, which is what weʼre always trying to achieve,” Sager said. “Riazul’s motto is ‘flow freely,’ and that’s exactly what we’re going to do at cPanel Conference 2010. The information, education, and cocktails will ‘flow freely’—it will be the best conference to date.”
According to cPanel, Riazul will participate “heavily” in a “soon-to-be-famous” event following the cPanel/SoftLayer Mystery Event.
