(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Payment Card Industry compliance and web hosting provider YesPCI (www.yespci.com) has chosen security and compliance solutions provider ControlScan (www.controlscan.com) as its PCI compliance services provider, increasing the safety and security of its merchant processing and further protecting its consumers’ privacy.
According to ControlScan’s Monday announcement, ControlScan will provide YesPCI’s eCommerce platform with a full suite of PCI scanning and security services, making the recently founded company’s online credit card transactions more secure. PCI compliance is a standard that was created by the PCI Security Standards Council (www.pcisecuritystandards.org), comprised of all the major credit card companies to impose rules on the processing of cardholder data.
“In partnering with ControlScan, we are able to deliver a truly all-in-one hosting and payment processing solution for online merchants,” YesPCI executive director Jason Taylor said in a statement. “By leveraging our enterprise-level infrastructure and ControlScan’s expertise in PCI compliance, our customers benefit from a fully-managed, integrated, and certified secure hosting environment. We’re resolving the unnecessary anxiety faced by online merchants.”
Those using YesPCI’s platform, which includes dedicated hosting, merchant processing and security solutions, will give users access to ControlScan’s full-service PCI solution, which includes a self assessment questionnaire, on-demand security scanning and access to ControlScan’s merchant portal. Merchants can also take advantage of ControlScan’s security certification seals, which may help merchants increase online sales and decrease shopping cart abandonment.
Earlier this year, virtual private server hosting provider KickAssVPS (www.kickassvps.com) partnered with ControlScan to offer PCI compliance scanning for e-commerce customers, giving them access to ControlScan’s PCI compliance scanning and vulnerability reporting.
