(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Software developer MachSol Inc. (www.machsol.com) has announced that the latest build of its Software-as-a-Service-enabled hosted services delivery platform MachPanel provides full support for SharePoint 2010.
According to the company’s Tuesday announcement, MachPanel v.4.1.15 offers a complete complete automation solution and provisioning system for Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Microsoft’s business collaboration platform for the enterprise and the web, which is currently in beta. The latest release of MachPanel fully automates the service planning, billing, provisioning and management of several traditional hosted services (shared data and web hosting) as well as enterprise hosting such as Microsoft Exchange 2010, Hosted Messaging & Collaboration 4.0/4.5, SharePoint 2010 Services, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and other.
“[MachPanel] is tightly integrated with SharePoint Server to deliver all the features service providers are required to deploy and manage SharePoint Hosting,” MachSol chief technology officer Aziz Paracha said in a statement. “MachPanel provides a user-friendly interface that allows hosts to create and manage SharePoint Servers, Server Groups, Server Group members, SharePoint accounts, Subscriptions & Service plans in an organized manner.
Last month, MachPanel announced that it had added complete Exchange 2010 functionality, making it one of the first control panels to do so. As well, it extended to clients unlimited options for SaaS offerings such as SharePoint, CRM 4.0 and mobile exchange automation.
Paracha said keeping MachPanel up to date with the latest trends and technologies sets the control panel apart from others. “We will continue this endeavour to explore new grounds, therefore, Office Communication Server is the next milestone in our sight and will be made available soon,” he said
The latest release also addresses bug fixes and performance improvements.
