Consonus Scores Perfect on Sun Audit

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center and IT managed services provider Consonus Technologies (www.consonus.com) has received top scores on annual support services audit by technology partner Sun Microsystems (www.sun.com).

According to Consonus’ Thursday announcement, its support services team has received a perfect score of 100 percent on its Sun Help Desk Accreditation program assessment for the fifth consecutive year by meeting Sun’s high standards of the company’s ability to provide end-user support.

Consonus chief executive officer Mike Shook said Consonus’ support services are an integral part of its business. “We were the first partner in the country to pass Sun’s annual Helpdesk Audit with a perfect score–and we’ve maintained this for five consecutive years,” Shook said in a statement.

Consonus offers a suite of technical support services designed to supplement its customers’ data center-based IT solutions by providing a multi-vendor support offering that reduces time resolution.

Having been a partner with Sun for more than two decades, Consonus offers everything from architecture, product fulfillment, and service in support of Sun infrastructures. Sun account executive Gary Blandino said Consonus has been a partner since 1988. “They have cultivated some outstanding trusted-advisor relationships with their customers, while ensuring the high quality professional services delivery that is consistent with Sun’s proven methodologies,” Blandino said in a statement.
