(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Automation software developer ConnectWise (www.connectwise.com) has released the third phase of ConnectWise 2010, the company’s business operating system for IT service providers, MSPs, technology consultants, integrators, and developers. The latest version has additional features including more sophisticated reporting and tracking for marketing campaigns, an enhanced web portal for customers, and scheduling and service improvements.
“This release of ConnectWise 2010 offers a number of ways to make working together, and working with customers, easier and more rewarding,” ConnectWise chief executive officer Arnie Bellini said in a statement. “Feedback to the initial release of ConnectWise 2010 in the first quarter was excellent, and these updates continue our development tradition of adding and refining features based on the real-world requirements of the IT Nation.”
According to ConnectWise’s Tuesday announcement, the new sales and marketing campaign management features enable users to determine which pay-per-click SEO campaigns are effective and have the highest return, and use collected contact information and sales intelligence to create more effective campaigns. As well, the new marketing API lets users completely integrate ConnectWise Marketing Manager into their website for better information gathering.
New customer portal features let customers view their history of quotes and recommendations from sales reps, and approve quotes for immediate flow into ConnectWise’s order entry and inventory systems.
The updated QuoteWerks API gives ConnectWise and QuoteWerks users additional mapping features for more streamlined integration of products and sales opportunities, such as shipping and inventory status.
Updated reporting tools now work seamlessly with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and administrators can schedule reports to automatically generate an email to employees or customers.
As well, administrators can setup ConnectWise to notify others about a service ticket or status update request. Team members can also now view each others’ schedules for better coordination and faster service delivery.
