March 3, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Compulogic (compulogic.info) announced this week the release of PicoServ, a Web server module that can be embedded into a variety of systems, enabling them to be remotely controlled and accessed via the Web.
According to Compulogic, PicoServ acts as an Internet co-processor designed to provide a browser-based interface in a small space, at low power, at low cost and with minimal design effort.
The module, the company says, features a fully integrated 10baseT Ethernet interface and takes care of all network interfacing and communications protocols, Web page storage and provides a variety of simple interfaces to the host system or equipment. Dynamic Web pages are supported through an HTML interface, enabling real time data to be displayed and updated from a standard Web browser.
