ComponentOne, Rackspace Team up

July 23, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — ComponentOne (componentone.com), a developer of .NET components, announced on Monday that it had entered into a partner agreement with managed hosting provider Rackspace Managed Hosting (rackspace.com) in order to increase exposure for both companies while adding new value for ComponentOne’s current clients.

According to ComponentOne, the company’s flagship Studio Enterprise product accelerates visual development with drag and drop tools that simplify design and extend the power of Visual Studio 2005. The tool enables users to develop sophisticated interfaces for Windows Web and Mobile applications using less code.

Under the terms of the select partnership agreement, ComponentOne will have access to a Rackspace partner portal and Rackspace marketing materials.

“Developers using the ComponentOne Studio Enterprise ASP.NET toolset create cutting-edge, enterprise-level Web apps that demand the best in ASP.NET Web hosting.  Rackspace delivers the quality and reliable Web hosting our customers demand, and much more.” says Geoff Lusty, director of marketing at ComponentOne. “Rackspace provides our customers with a solid and reliable infrastructure on which to grow their business. Their unparalleled managed hosting expertise backed by their fanatical support provides our clients the best solution to succeed, ultimately increasing our customer loyalty and profit margin through a mutually beneficial partnership.”
