September 25, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT security solutions provider Comodo Group (comodo.com) announced on Thursday it will create new channels to distribute the company’s products in an effort to expand its market reach.

Comodo has appointed Adam Soskin to lead the channel reseller division, where he will create new channels to distribute the company’s products.

Soskin brings to Comodo extensive marketing experience as channel manager and consultant at global software companies to recruit distributors, resellers, and manufacturer representatives.

While working at two technology companies, Soskin added 100 new channel partners within 12 months, as well as expanded their market share by 40 percent.

“With Adam’s energy, acumen and leadership, Comodo Group will find enthusiastic new channel partners with in-depth technical expertise, market knowledge, and extensive capabilities to design, implement, and support solutions,” says Melih Abdulhayoglu, CEO of Comodo Group.

Under the program, the channel partner’s expertise and offerings are combined with Comodo’s technology and security technologies to deliver solutions to the partner’s customers.

With a channel ecosystem composed of distributors, resellers, and manufacturer representatives, Comodo offers partner program levels of Platinum, Gold and Silver. Partner designations are found in Enterprise Solution Provider, Value Added Reseller, OEM/System Builder, and Integrator.

Partners can choose from various geographical regions including North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan and Latin America.

Channel partners are provided with a range of technical support and training, including product support, with access to technical support for both pre and post sale; marketing programs, which include co-branding and joint marketing initiatives; personalized training, which includes product sales and technical training; personnel certification on Comodo’s products and technology; and access to Comodo’s portfolio of security solutions and future products.

“With more channel partners representing Comodo, more computer users will be exposed to and benefit from our world-class products,” says Abdulhayoglu. “With the expertise of Comodo’s new channel partners, we will distribute more software to users, freeing computer users to trust the connections they make on the Internet.”

The Comdodo provides security and authentication technologies, including encryption, digital certification, identity and access services, PKI, secure communications, desktop security solutions and vulnerability management services, to more than 250,000 businesses, and millions of consumers.

Earlier this month, Comodo announced that steel instruments retailer Zamberg has deployed Comodo’s EV SSL certificates and HackerProof to ensure that its website is secure.
