Antivirus software Avast (www.avast.com) recently released Avast Sandbox as a bundled feature in certain paid versions of its software suite. A DownloadSquad blog notes that sandboxing provides an extra layer of protection, giving untrustworthy programs a virtual space where Windows, its registry, and important user data cannot be damaged.
