July 28, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Nominum (nominum.com) announced today that COLT Telecom (colt.net) has chosen Nominum Foundation Management Center (FMC) to support management of its pan-European IP address infrastructure.
Nominum FMC is an IP address management system that simplifies the deployment and management of devices on IP networks – including computers, mobile phones, cash registers – over distributed networks.
COLT said it chose Nominum FMC to ensure that its 20,000 kilometer network meets stringent requirements for reliability and administrative cost control while also providing flexibility.
